According to the report of the Vice-Chancellor of Resource Planning and Development, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) has succeeded in upgrading its position in the latest ranking results among the universities of the world and the Islamic world in the ranking of Islamic World Science and Technology Monitoring and Citation Institute (ISC). Based on this, FUM has been ranked among the top 1000 universities in the world in 2023, among 2555 universities in the world. Also, among the 377 universities of the Islamic world, it has climbed 20 places and managed to reach the 51st rank.
