Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), as one of the thirteen representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran, participated in the international exhibition introducing the educational attractions of Iranian universities and scientific centers, which was held in Damascus and Syria, at the invitation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.

This exhibition started on the morning of Sunday 9 June 1403 at the Faculty of Law of Damascus University with the presence of the Minister of Higher Education of Syria, the head of the Syrian Students Organization, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic in Syria, and the president of Damascus University, and with the participation of 13 large and important universities of Iran.

Dr. Hossein Bazarafshan, Director of International Scientific Cooperation of FUM, said: The purpose of participating in this exhibition, in addition to attracting international students, is to commercialize the scientific and research achievements of FUM in developing countries. FUM participated in this exhibition with two booths to attract and introduce scientific and research achievements.

It is worth mentioning Dr. Ghasemi, Deputy Military Attaché in Syria, Mr. Shirani, Deputy Ambassador of Iran in Syria, Dr. Waseli, Head of the Embassy Office in Damascus, Dr. Mokhtasabadi, Iran's Cultural Adviser in Syria, Dr. Salarvand, Head of Iranian Schools in Syria, Jordan and Lebanon, the head of the Faculty of Law of Al-Montasarih University of Iraq, the head of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Damascus and a group of faculty members of the University of Syria visited this exhibition.
